Delete your Mullak account

This page explains how to delete your Mullak account and the data attached to it. Mullak is a marketplace that connects property buyers and renters directly with owners. You can find our full Privacy Policy here.

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

The fastest way. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Open the Mullak app and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Option 2 — ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, or no longer have the app installed, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Email mo@mullak-eg.com with the subject “Delete my Mullak account”, from the email address on the account, or telling us the phone number you signed up with.

We will confirm the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything, and we aim to complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your login and account record.
Your name, email address and phone number.
Your listings, and the photos and details in them.
Your profile photo.
Your messages, connection requests, and any recordings of calls you took part in.

We never store the liveness selfie taken during verification, so there is no image of you to delete — it is discarded at the moment it is used and is never written to storage.

What we keep, and why

An irreversible numeric representation of your face. This is a mathematical template that cannot be reversed to reconstruct your face or produce an image of you. We retain it solely to stop a banned or rejected user from opening a fresh account to evade our anti-broker and fraud controls. It is never used for advertising, profiling or tracking, and is never sold or shared.
Records of payments. Where we are required to keep transaction records by law or by our payment provider, we keep those records for the required period.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to close your account to remove things. You can delete any listing you have posted, along with its photos, from within the app at any time. For anything else, email the address above and tell us what you would like removed.
